Textile and Fibre Art pieces have raw frayed edges, uneven stitches, and bright colors.
Stitched pieces combine multiple techniques including hand embroidery, machine stitching and needle felting.

Inspired by make do and mend, stitched works are small, meant to be held and touched while also being ready to hang on a wall, unframed, supported by sleeves or loops.

As a Canadian Textile Artist, subject matter is specific to my context and hopefully universal in its connection to cloth and fibre as a part of our daily lives.
